RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS

Due to the nature of custom, aftermarket, and race car specific parts, returns cannot be accepted unless items are brand new and still in original unopened packaging. Should you have issues with your order, please contact us via our contact page and we will be happy to help.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

As a purchaser of products from MX-5 Performance, you agree not to share digital content with any other person via file share websites, forums, USB thumb drives or otherwise. Physical products must not be reproduced under copy-write law. Be aware that as a purchaser of our products you may have issues with compatibility with your vehicle of choice. While there is a very high chance that most products will work as specified, there is always a chance that some components may not fit or function correctly without making adjustments. This is due to variations in vehicles, aftermarket modifications, models of ECU etc outside our control.

 

WARRANTY

All items sold are covered by 12 months manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stated.

Manufacturer’s warranty is valid within Australia only and commences from the purchase date on your invoice.

MX-5 Performance does NOT cover the return delivery costs on warranty items whether it is being shipped back to us or to the manufacturer. These costs are to be covered by the customer.

Warranty does not cover any other associated costs regarding the item, i.e. removal of and/or replacing of the item, service fees or the like.

NO proof of purchase, NO warranty claim.

Be sure to keep your tax invoice as proof of purchase. To request another copy please contact our customer service team via email and include your name and order number.

Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase on the original goods which will be warranted as long as it complies with all other terms and conditions. Warranty is NOT transferable.

No refund will be processed until we have received the product from you and have determined the cause of the problem. This may require sending the item back to the manufacturer for evaluation to determine if this is a warrantable claim. After this point a refund will be issued if agreed upon by both parties.

Refunds will only be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase.

If a new replacement item is issued for a returned warrantable item, the warranty period of the new item is continued from the purchase date of the original item. The warranty period does not start again.

However we ask you to please note, warranty terms do not cover parts or components damaged by neglect or misuse, incorrect assembly, improper/irregular maintenance or collision/accidents and as such claims will be solely at our discretion. In the case that a warranty claim arises, we require the faulty part or item to be returned to us so we can examine, test and repair or replace any item deemed faulty.
